Hip, hip, hooray...someone is 28 today!

I can't find a picture right now, but I'm still working on it ....
HOWEVER, today is Jana's birthday. Jana has been my friend since...........F O R E V E R. She lived just down the street from me when we were little and we used to "meet at the corner"....ALL THE TIME! She has been my friend with the birthday that is exactly....ONE year-ONE month-and ONE day after mine.

Even though we live so far apart and can't meet at the corner anymore, I want her to know just how great she is and how much she means to me. She has always been a great friend to me and I really couldn't ask for better.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JANA!!!!!

And {SHE'S} writing.....

Miss J is always 'practicing' her writing these days. Sometimes we can figure it our on our own, and sometimes we need a little help. Today, this is what she wrote to her dad (and we didn't even need any help figuring out what she meant). She did it all by H E R S E L F and we are so proud of her!!! Way to go girly, we love you!
(Translation: Daddy, will you turn back on 28 please. Because I want you to. I want to watch Suite Life of Zach and Cody. Will you please.) The 'why?' is what Brandon wrote to her. They were writing back and forth. The '28' is the channel on the T.V. she wanted...it's Disney.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NOELLE!

Hi everyone! Since she got to put up a nice big post about me on here for my birthday I just thought Noelle deserved to know how much she is also loved! Today is Noelle’s 29th birthday, that’s right the last one before the big 3 0 and I am at work right now so she has no idea that I am doing this and probobly thinks that I have forgotten about her. I can't wait to see what she thinks when she sees this. Since I don’t have our girls here to help describe all the millions of reasons why we love our mommy and wife, I’ll just have to name some of them myself :
Noelle is the most unselfish, loving person I know.
She brings a spirit of love and peace to our home.
Nobody could be a better mommy for our girls than her.
She loves our girls and makes our home a safe haven for them
She loves me for me even with all my faults.
She is the most beautiful woman on the face of the earth!
She has more patience in her little finger than most people have in their entire body.
She lets me be right every so often even if I am wrong.
She is a wonderful cook
She’s never quick to judge.
She’ll try anything once even if it’s only for me (like riding a dirtbike)
She enjoys camping
She lets our girls act like tough tomboys but teaches them that they are and deserve to be treated like princesses
She LOVES to do the girls’ hair, especially with bows and ribbons (very good since daddy can’t even do a pony tail)
She works harder that I do most days in order for us to have the best lives possible.
And finally, she has given me the 3 most precious angels in the entire world and loves us with all of her heart.

WE LOVE YOU MOMMY! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Love Your Hubby, Miss J, Miss A and Miss M.

Two little P-I-G-G-I-E-S

I seriously get sooooooo excited when my little girls FINALLY have enough hair to put piggies in. I just get "giddy as a school girl" as my husband would say. Well, folks, yesterday was the day. My baby had enough hair....and I went for it. We even made it all through church without her pulling them out. It was a GREAT day for piggies.

I feel so blessed to be the mother of these 3 girls.....I can't imagine my life without them. I'm the luckiest mom in the WORLD!

Better late than never....

A couple of weekends ago we decided to take Grandma and Grandpa to the air show out at Nellis. We weren't sure how were going to like it, but I think we all loved it. It was fun to see all the planes on display and really fun to watch the actual air show. A little noisy for little miss, but she was a trooper.

# 1 GRANDMA

To the world's best MIL, mom and G-R-A-N-D-M-A,

We wish we were there and could sing to you in person, but since we aren't, this is as good as we could get.

Thank you for being the BEST grandma any 3 granddaughters could ask for! We love you so much. Hope you had a wonderful day, you deserve it! Thanks for all you do for us and all the love you show us. We couldn't be any luckier to know you and call you our own.

Love,
Daddy, Mommy and 3 little munkins!

Happy Election Day!

Happy, happy, birthday.....

Happy, happy birthday Connie dear. Happy days will come to you all year. If I had one wish that it would be. A happy, happy birthday to YOU from ME!

Here's wishing a very happy 30 to one of my BFF's. We've been friends longer than I can remember and I've called her a sister for all these years. She is one of the most generous, kind, loving, great people I know. (She also keeps me up WAY past my bedtime every time I see her) I'm lucky to know her and call her my friend. Hope you have a WONDERFUL day. Love ya!

Little Bo Peep & her sheep

We had our ward's trunk-or-treat Halloween night. The girls had a blast and it always puts my mind to ease.

(Can we say excited?)

(Poor Miss M was sick, but she was a trooper anyways)

After we got home from the trunk-or-treat, Daddy took the two older girls around the neighborhood a little bit. When they got back, they were REALLY tired and thirsty.......can you tell?

I just had to add these two more pictures of the girls we took before the activites began. They are just so cute, I couldn't help myself.

Preschool carnival 2008

Last Thursday, Miss A had a preschool carnival that was so much fun for the two older girls. We were very lucky that daddy was able to go in a little late to work so he could stay home and play with Miss M.

The posting is a little late, but hey, better late than never, right?

Mom, it's an EMERGENCY!!

This is what I heard when my oldest came RUNNING inside from the backyard. When I went out to investigate, I hear, "Mom, she put a rock up her nose and I can't get it out!!" A what I ask. A rock!!! So, I guess I've really made it to mommyhood when I spend an evening digging something out of my child's nose. Luckily, we did manage to finally get it out and we took pictures for proof. * BEWARE, it was up the nose so the pictures are a little gross * I did take a funny video too, you'll have to watch and hear how our conversation went.

P U M P K I N patch

We never go with the intention of buying the pumpkins, but the kids always have a good time riding all the rides. Of course, it's always a good time for pictures too....

{THREE BEAUTIES}

{SWINGING}

{Twirly-thingy-that-makes-me-sick}

{Truck ride that they loved because they B O T H could drive at the SAME TIME}

{Train}

Of course 'lil miss was too young and little to do any of the rides, but we took
L O T S of pictures of her anyways.....

P.S. In case any of you notice, these pictures were on two different nights (thus the different outfits). The place closed down before we could use up all our tickets the first night. :)

A knock at the door?

What happens when your 5-year-old decides to misbehave and have a meltdown in the van? Well, you let them out to calm down and walk home. You most certainly do not drive off and leave them; however, you do let them know that they are NOT allowed back in the van until they stop screaming! When they have come to their senses and they are ready to talk like a normal human being.....then what? You of course pull over, talk to them like the big girls they are and you invite them back in to the van to ride the rest of the way home. Now, what happens when your overly curious/cautious/intrusive/probably-never-had-kids/NOSEY neighbors get involved.....well, then you have these people at your door:

Yep, that's right! About 20 minutes after we got home (and had already put our VERY tired 5-year-old in bed) there was a knock at the door. Lo and behold, there was a nice policeman at our door inquiring about our daughter and wanting to "check on our little one". Brandon relayed the entire story, not missing any details. Then the officer wanted to check on her, so up the stairs they went...woke little miss up, asked her if she was ok, and then quickly told her that "next time she needed to mind her mommy and daddy."

Now, was it a huge deal....no. Did we get hauled off to jail....no. But, seriously people, can you mind your own business? I guess it's a different day and age; however, would you have liked me to drop her off at your house next time and let you think of a more appropriate/better/more successful way of getting her to calm down? I NEVER would do anything to harm my child(ren) and if I think that letting her get out and calm down for a few minutes is the best option....then MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!!!!!

~Sincerely, A LOVING MOM~

Do we really need ALL our hair?

{Last post for the day, I promise! I know, a little overload for one day.}

If anyone knows my middle child than you will know her VERY mischievious ways. Despite the fact that she's been told a million times N O T to touch the scissors, she did it anyways. And what happens when a 3-year-old gets ahold of scissors...well, since you asked, I'll tell you. She does THIS:

And then her bangs look like THIS:

We sure do love this little girl, but she sure keeps us on our toes. There was a lot more damage to the rest of the hair; however, I was lucky to get her to sit still long enough to get these two pictures. You'll just have to imagine how much more was missing when I tell you that the bathroom floor was c o v e r e d with long blond hair.

And we're walking....

I couldn't help myself....she's so cute and SO INDEPENDENT! Take a look and you'll see for yourself! :)

{F A M I L Y reunion}

We spent conference weekend in Zion's and St. George having a family reunion. We had a lot of fun and we even survived the wind and rain. The girls love being with Grandpa & Grandma. The just also happen to L O V E their uncle Steven & aunt Kristen!! There were just tooooooo many pictures to post them all individually so we did a couple of slides so you could see them all.

One of the highlights of the trip for the girls was hiking. We decided Friday morning to ride the shuttle all the way up the canyon. The girls got a real kick out of riding the shuttle. Then we decided to do a few of the hikes. We sure had a lot of fun. The girls love hiking. We even saw deer on one of our hikes.

We went swimming one day too....but who really wants to do a whole slide of us in our swimsuits? But, there were some bathing beauties there....

We had so much fun and we hope to have more family reunions in the future. Maybe next time we can get everyone out?
